About Us

Phoenix Homes of Tennessee was founded in 2001 as an organization dedicated to serving youth and children in need of family based care but at a higher level than traditional foster care. Phoenix Homes wanted to provide a network of highly trained, motivated, and committed families to children who would otherwise be in residential treatment or group homes. Phoenix Homes staff knew then and now that children and youth flourish in families who are focused on their care and growth. In May of 2010, Phoenix Homes of Tennessee joined with Omni Visions, another leader in therapeutic foster care as a way to enhance the network of services for both organizations. Through this partnership, Phoenix Homes of Tennessee has access to newfound resources statewide that will have better outcomes for the children and youth we serve.
